Treat Street logo.jpg

Join us on October 25 for a Trunk or Treat alternative.

Dress up in your Halloween costume & drive through our parking lot of decorated trunks.
Receive pre-packed candy bags at no-touch drive-thru stations.
Vote for your favorite trunk.
Listen to festive tunes on 93.7FM along the way.

The Route

Treat Street is located in the church’s large parking lot, located between the church and Georgetown College.

The Drive-thru begins at the Mulberry St. entrance to the parking lot.

Join the line on College street, heading west toward Broadway. Traffic attendants and lawn signs will help direct you through the route and invite you to tune into 93.7FM for music and instructions.

Volunteers

We need your help…and your trunk! There’s lots of ways for everyone to help make Treat Street a fun and festive time.

  • Register to decorate your trunk. (You will not be passing out candy from your trunk)

  • Register to direct traffic.

  • Register to pass out goody bags at designated treat stations. (These bags will be pre-packed, and you will be asked to wear a mask and gloves.)

  • Contact Pastor Heather to help pack goody bags in advance. (A good option for those who are staying home.) Email heather@georgetownbaptist.org or call the office.

  • Donate pre-wrapped candy. Bring donations to the church breezeway (off the small back parking lot) by October 22.

See our FAQs for more volunteer details!

Safety Measures

We want everyone to be safe this Halloween. That’s why we are doing all that we can to create a festive, socially distanced Halloween experience. Our safety measures are one way we follow Jesus’ command to love our neighbor as ourselves. Here’s the plan:

  • All volunteers will be masked and socially distanced.

  • No candy will be handed directly from trunks to children. All goodies will be pre-packed in bags and handed to cars on trays in a no-touch drive-thru fashion.

  • Any volunteer handling goodies, whether packing or passing out bags, will wear a face mask and gloves.

  • Trunks will be spaced out with empty parking spots between all cars.

  • Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles as they drive through Treat Street.
